This cut-down site is for informational purposes only.
For many reasons, some of which are listed below, we have stopped the production of HIPs and EPCs.
If
you have a HIP in progress with us, we will of course complete it and send it on.
If you have any queries, please
use the form on the Contact Us page.
- HIPs - uncertain future, may well be scrapped
by the new government.
- UPDATE - they've done just that - from 21st May 2010, HIPs are suspended
and no longer required to market your home.
- Domestic EPCs - too many assessors and not enough work have driven
the price down to an unsustainable level.
- Commercial HIPs - non-compliance by landlords and agents means that there
are not enough instructions for the army of trained assessors, meaning fees have been driven down to an unsustainable level.
So, low volume and low fees mean it's not a viable business.
- Generally - these are products people don't
want, so the only buying decision is based on price, not on quality, efficiency or customer service. This also means it's
not a satisfying career.
